💥💥 The new Uepaa app is here 💥💥

... with new generosity
The size and resolution of the displays has increased significantly compared to the launch of the app in 2013. Although the app scaled accordingly, it was obviously not optimized for larger displays. The look and feel should be fresher, more generous and more modern compared to the old app.
The new dashboard with the map in the center is the heart of the app and makes the entire functionality of the app accessible. The most important buttons are large and easily accessible with the thumb.

On the one hand, the command center created in this way with alarm chain, daily emergency contact, the three security checks and the emergency call center provides users with a more overview and will also allow us in the future to bring the most important features to the lock and home screen in a conceptual and visually stringent way as widgets and live activities.
All in all, after the redesign, the app shines with new simplicity and clarity. Distraction and frills were deliberately avoided — especially in the event of an emergency. The notes and UX writing in the app have also been optimized for unambiguity and stringent user guidance.
... with new typography
The font used “Avenir Next Condensed” was modern 10 years ago and matched the corporate identity of Uepaa AG as an end user application. For use in the B2B sector as an occupational safety tool, readability must be given a higher weighting. That is why we now use the “San Francisco” and “Roboto” system fonts trimmed for readability by tech giants Apple and Google. The Uepaa corporate font “Uni Sans Semibold zum” is also used in a targeted manner, which strengthens the visual identity of Uepaa and the app.
.. with modern UI elements
To activate security checks, alert the emergency call center or accept camera assistance, a slider has recently been used, which can be easily operated with one hand.
... with a proven color concept and new countdowns
Green, orange and red provide the user with information as to whether everything is okay, needs to be taken action, or whether the emergency call center is/is being alerted. These three colors are complemented by a neutral Uepaa blue, which is used for the neutral states.
For example, if the user navigates from the new dashboard to one of the three security checks and activates one by swiping to the right, the entire bottom sheet turns into the active state (green). This new generosity also applies when the user is asked to act (orange) or an alarm is sent to the emergency center (red). Activated security checks are unmistakably identified as such on the dashboard by the active status with countdown.
... with easier initial contact for users
We've also streamlined onboarding. The few queries that still have to be answered or approved by the user are the minimum to ensure security when working alone. After deliberately keeping onboarding dry, the new “See Through” tutorial explains to the user all the functionalities that are presented on the dashboard.
