🎯🎯 How do you get precise positioning in the brewery?

Brewing takes place around the clock in the brewhouse — the bottling plants are moist and slippery — the tank cleaning takes place in Lower Ireland, often alone — the catacombs are spacious, with many ascents and descents — the storage area is gigantic. Definitely a big undertaking in terms of security! But a lot is being done to ensure that the cool blonde of Feldschlösschen (aka: s'Original 🍺🍺) reaches consumers safely. A well-maintained and lived safety culture, forklift trucks with collision warning systems, safety checkpoints with rental PPE material... and not to forget, the Uepaa app for ensuring solo work in accordance with the rules:

This week, we were able to accompany the introduction of the indoor tracking system. This is about an installation of Blootooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons on the building side, which provide precise information on the location of the victim in the event of possible rescue operations. Once programmed and correctly placed, these beacons send valuable information about the floor, department, and work zones to the Uepaa app, even if the GPS signal has been interrupted for a long time. In addition, the Uepaa app has been configured to start automatically as soon as a zone with beacons is entered. So that nothing is left to chance.

Together with Andreas Sulser (Head of Security, Emergency and Fire Protection Organization at Feldschlösschen), the beacons were quickly programmed, labelled and ready for placement in the castle. Then it was down to the neuralgic zones, control boxes and final range and placement tests. After the work was done, there was of course a photo in the venerable and beautiful brewhouse.
