Hidden in the shadow of the mighty trees is a world full of secrets and adventures that only those who penetrate deep enough into the forest can experience. But while many see the foresters only as those who swing the saw with a strong arm, a closer look reveals a fascinating reality.

On the one hand, there is the profession of certified forester HF and the profession of forester EFZ. Forestry stations are those who cut down trees outside, maintain the forest and do their work by hand. The foresters are responsible for planning and operational management. They also have sovereign tasks, including marking trees and advising forest owners.

The city-owned forest company of Ruben Menzi, city forester of the municipality of Uster, therefore not only takes care of cutting trees, but also the interests of nature, agriculture, forestry, hunting and the population.
